She has cast commercials, Web spots, and print ads for such Nationally established companies like Honda, Duracell, Best Western, Allstate, AAA, The Bill Gates Foundation, Conoco, Kaiser Permanente, Reebok (NHL), Burger King, IBM, NFL Red Zone, Dish Network, Verizon, Boston Market, and Bass Pro Shop.

Regionally, Sylvia has cast for Rocky Mountain Health Plans, Connect for Health Colorado, The Colorado Lottery, Keen Shoes, Via Satellite, The Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, Pinnacle Bank, LiveWell Colorado, CollegeInvest, Tri-State Energy, Banner Health, Del Real Foods, and Furniture Row.

Sylvia is proud to be a part of The Colorado Office of Suicide Prevention’s “Man Therapy” PSA campaign, which was written up in an article in the Media & Advertising section of The New York Times.

Prior to founding SG Casting, Sylvia co-owned Reinking-Gregory Casting with fellow Casting Director Cathy Reinking.

Sylvia worked as the Casting Associate at The Denver Center Theater Company for three seasons. She has also cast shows for Denver Center Attractions, The Colorado Symphony Orchestra, The Colorado Springs Symphony Orchestra, Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company, Colorado Theatre Works, Senior Housing Options at The Barth Hotel, Paragon Theatre Company, and LOCAL Theatre Company.

Sylvia has taught acting and auditioning for on-camera and the stage at The University of Colorado Boulder, Denver University, Rocky Mountain Community College, and The Denver Center Academy, as well as to private clients. She holds a degree in Theater Arts with an emphasis in Acting from California State University Fullerton, a degree in classical acting from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and a Master’s of Fine Arts degree from The Alabama Shakespeare Festival/University of Alabama/PAT.
