Special Skills & Experience:
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, filmmaker Sean J.S. Jourdan now lives and works from Denver, Colorado where he relocated after receiving an MFA degree in film and video at Columbia College Chicago. Following his graduation and employment as a chemical engineer from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a lifelong interest in storytelling and human nature led him to Washington University in St. Louis where he earned an MA in drama. His work gradually developed from theater to film where he has worked as an award-winning screenwriter and director (Finalist - Sundance Screenwriters Lab, Silver Hugo/Chicago International Film Festival, 2nd Place – Creative Screenwriting Awards, Finalist Filmmakers International Screenwriting Awards, Top 5 Finalist in MTVu’s Best Filmmaker on Campus Competition - MTV Movie Awards, CINE Award of Excellence, among many others). Shorts International, via iTunes, and BigStar.tv currently distributes Sean’s short films, which have also played in a number of film festivals worldwide (Raindance, Chicago International Film Festival, Montreal World Film Festival, etc).

He is currently in post-production on his first feature film, the dramatic/thriller "Teddy Boy" and has completed the local, SAG, casting for "Dear Eleanor" (dir. Kevin Connolly).
