Special Skills & Experience:
Doug Metzger has produced, directed or assistant directed over 35 feature films with a total gross of over 1 billion dollars worldwide. He has worked on prominent studio films with budgets exceeding $90 million, independent films with budgets as low as $3.5 million and a variety of television programs. Doug was honored with the ‘Outstanding Directorial Achievement Award’ from the Directors Guild of America for his work on “Dances with Wolves”.

His career has been spent on movie sets throughout the world, filming in locations such as Thailand, Africa, Italy, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the United States. Doug has worked at all the major studios including Paramount, Universal, MGM, Fox, Disney, Warner Brothers, DreamWorks, SpyGlass Entertainment, New Line, HBO, CBS and others. During these times he has run sets, prepared and implemented budgets, as well as developed and executed the creative aspects of the different genres of film.

Doug went to the Air Force Academy for 2 ½ years then changed courses and graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in film. He and his wife, Jonelle, live in Eagle, Colorado.
